Symbolic World Trade Center Cross temporarily moved
Posted October 5, 2006
One of the most visited sites for tourists in New York City is the World Trade Center and the symbolic cross made by a T-beam found in the ruins. Please note that as of October 4, 2006 the cross has been relocated one block north to St. Peter’s church to make way for construction at the WTC site. It’s expected to stay there until the Memorial Museum opens in 2009.
Where: St. Pete’s church is located at 16 Barclay St, one block north of the World Trade Center. Google map.
